BACKGROUND

Prior to joining McLeods in 2011, Kristy worked for a local government in WA in governance, in private practice as part of the planning and environment group of a commercial law firm in Sydney, and for a community legal centre for environmental law in WA. She also has experience in international law, having worked for an international environmental organisation.

EXPERIENCE

Kristy’s experience includes:

• Providing advice and representation to government bodies and private clients in a range of matters in the NSW Land and Environment Court and Court of Appeal, including land acquisition and compensation appeals, planning appeals and pollution prosecutions.

• Providing advice to government bodies and private clients on various planning and environmental law issues, including planning matters, subdivision approvals, pollution, defamation and environmental impact assessment and approvals.
