Firm OverviewMembers of the McLeods team have been successfully representing local governments for over 30 years and have developed considerable expertise and knowledge in local government law, and the related law areas of planning, administrative, property, environmental, heritage and native title law. That expertise and knowledge has been broadened through the provision of services to State Government departments, universities, statutory corporations and Parliamentary Committees. McLeods maintains close links with industry bodies including Local Government Managers Australia, Western Australian Local Government Association, Urban Development Institute of Australia the Planning Institute of Australia and the Local Government Planners Association. Members of our team have developed and taught undergraduate and post-graduate courses in administrative, constitutional, town planning and property law at the University of Western Australia, Murdoch University and Curtin University.
